The apostles gave themselves “continually to prayer and ministry of the Word”. Acts 6:4
Commit to a Day of Prayer
As assemblies we have been somewhat successful at devoting ourselves to the Word, but can we honestly say we are giving ourselves continually to prayer? We all want to see God do great things in our generation: to rescue lost souls, to unify us and increase our love for each other, and make us a spotless beautiful bride worthy of our Lord.
A Change in Your Heart
James said long ago, “You do not have because you do not ask”. James 4:2 Let’s get together and ask God to do what only He can do in our hearts, our families, our assemblies, and our world, for the glory of His great name.
Light Snacks Provided
There will be no sit down lunch. We will have two 1 hour breaks in the day with beverages and finger foods (yogurt, granola bars, fruit etc.) provided. If you plan on attending kindly send an email to Matt Martin (email@example.com) so that we can plan seating and snacks.
Friday 7:30 pm (optional)
Please join us to pray for the day of prayer. This will be a relaxed time of singing, prayer and fellowship as we anticipate the coming day of prayer.
